Safety Manager (m/f/d)
Job description
Safety Management System: further development, implementation and maintenance of the company-wide Safety Management System (SMS)
Risk management: carrying out risk analyses, safety assessments and hazard assessments for all areas of operation (rescue, ambulance, training, charter).
Safety culture and training: Promotion of safety culture in flight operations and flight school through awareness initiatives, training and education.
Coordination and documentation: coordination with authorities (e.g. LBA), internal departments and external bodies. Maintenance of safety documentation, emergency plans and policies as well as regular reporting to the company management.
- Your tasks: Key position: Direct influence on safety standards and culture at a non-profit aviation company.
High-end environment: Modern fleet (e.g. Airbus H145 D-3) and diverse operations from intensive transportation to training and charter.

- Your profile:
completed studies in the field of aviation, safety management, aviation management or comparable
Several years of experience in aviation safety, ideally in the helicopter segment, including experience with safety tools
Knowledge of national, European and international regulations for commercial aircraft operations - Experience with flight schools an advantage
Practice in risk management and in dealing with different operational areas (rescue, ambulance, training, charter)
Ability to set up and harmonize a cross-location safety network
Analytical thinking, structured way of working, strong communication skills and assertiveness
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
